That was possibly the worst PR disaster WHU have done in years last season, and they've had a few humdingers.

Just been back on the ticket site for this game, I would say there are fewer than 500 left for Citteh now, maybe not even that many

In some respects yes Eddie, but yesterday saw a full house for the late sunday kick off televised game.... Stadium was full of kids for a quid and they got to see us winning (Rather easily)
IMHO that was a very good use of lower ticket pricing..... I don;t think they will need to do the same for the citteh game this time round

Admiral, I was more making a point about the club unbelievably bad handling of the last few tickets for the corresponding match last season, ie selling them to non WHU fans for a fiver each.

Shocking piece from your good self young man.
It will sell out at full price, particularly if we get good result from the Burnley game.
It is worth noting that Villa had a way below average 32K for City on a Saturday afternoon. I wonder if the City myth is so strong that people won't buy tickets as the expectation of losing is now so great?
I don't think City are that good this season, good yes but not great, they are eminently beatable... I hope we go out and give it a go to make up for the diabolical performances of last season

Don't know why they do it 'cos there are far fewer than 3,000 tickets left anyway... only a couple of hundred at most on the ticket office site. Presumably they can't be bothered changing their standard advert?
